FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I Color My cloud 9 bundles Hair ?

Yes, all Cloud 9 Bundles hair collections can be colored. However, we strongly advise that you seek a professional colorist to obtain optimal results and prevent over processing.

HOW MANY BUNDLES DO I NEED?

We always recommend consulting a professional hair stylist first. In most cases, 3-4 bundles are enough to achieve a full head style. If lengths exceed 20 inches, we recommend customers purchase 4 bundles for the sake of fullness. Bundles can also be combined with a closure or frontal.

WILL THE HAIR BE SHEDDING OR TANGLE?

In terms of shedding, will my Cloud 9 Bundles shed? A few strands during initial comb through of new extensions are normal. To avoid further shedding we suggest customers seal the wefts before installing. We highly recommend brushing or combing with wide tooth hair tools. Excessive shedding can be a result of cutting wefts and/or dryness. As for tangling, our hair normally would not tangle due to its high grade and intact cuticles. In some cases tangling can be caused by dryness, oil/dirt build up, salt water or improper hair care. We recommend using shampoos and conditioners free of harsh chemicals or products to prevent damage to the cuticles. Please follow proper hair care instructions for maximum use.

How long does the hair last?

This hair can last for a very long time depending on how you maintain it. Treat it like your own hair and take good care of it and it will last longer. Depending on maintenance, hair will last 6 months to a year.

Do I have to do anything in the morning to my new bundles?

We advise that you comb your hair every morning. Gently brush your hair from the ends towards your scalp. Starting from the ends keeps the pressure off the weft area and is a good way to maintain the longevity of the extensions.

Do I have to do anything at night to my new bundles?

NEVER sleep on wet hair. Sleeping on wet hair is known to matte hair that makes it very difficult to keep the hair the way you want. Just make sure your hair is completely dry before you go to sleep and you shouldn’t have anything to worry about. Rolling your hair in rods at night will maintain your curls and limit the amount of heat you have to use on your hair daily.
